Following her educational training and experience, Dr. Britt began working in private practice. She provides therapy services for individuals ranging from adolescence through adulthood and for couples seeking assistance. She works with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, stress management, and communication. She also works with couples who are struggling in their relationship.
Dr. Britt came to Auburn for graduate school in clinical psychology. She worked at various places during her training years. While a graduate student, she taught developmental psychology for one year and worked on campus at the student psychology clinic. Dr. Britt also worked with the Alabama Department of Youth Services for a year at the Mt. Meigs facility. She worked at Veterans Affairs for a year (part-time) in an assistantship and then full time for a year for her internship. Her first job following her doctorate degree was at Family & Children’s Services of East Alabama Mental Health Center where she worked with adolescents and families.
