Chad Smith, M.A., LMFT

Nearing 25 years of practice with families, individuals, and adolescents, Chad Smith has been remarkably blessed to learn an immeasurable amount of wisdom from each client. His goal as a provider is to equip each family or individual with a “tool box” of skills readily available to address life’s inevitable stresses. Modalities of treatment are specific to each client and each approach is addressed specifically in session. Chad utilizes acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and empathic listening to provide a safe and secure environment. For clients who wish to integrate a Faith-Based approach, Scripture and Spiritual discussions are welcome in each session. Chad is humbled at your consideration of his services, and thanks each past and present client for their contribution to the goal of serving people.

Joanna Treadwell has been providing counseling to the Auburn and Opelika area for more than five years. After completing her undergraduate studies, Joanna spent a few years with her children before deciding to pursue her Master’s degree. She is licensed with the State of Alabama as a marriage and family therapist.

Belinda Hartsell has years of experience as a clinical social worker and therapist. She is certified by the Alabama Department of Youth Services to provide treatment services to youth adjudicated on a sexual offense. She facilitates behavior modification planning, family support and parenting classes. Belinda has a special interest in healthy marriage education with an emphasis on men and communication.

Karl Christensen is a marriage and family therapy associate serving the Auburn and Opelika area. Karl is in the process of becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist upon completion of his associate hours. He is currently a PhD candidate at Auburn University.
